Meet the Boys

Chuck Holloway

Born and raised in Southern California I’ve been playing the bluegrass music for 5 decades.

I got bit by the bluegrass bug in 1952 hearing Bill Monroe broadcast over WSM while living in Kansas. I took up the guitar in the early sixties; started playing the bluegrass music in ’73. In late ’74 I morphed to the 5-string banjo after hearing Ralph Stanley.

I sing lead and tenor, and some baritone in the band’s trios.
